Splash Pad

The Sault Ste. Marie Downtown Association questions the decision on the splash pad location…

Noting many reasons such as:
-City Scape Planning
-Slight variance in price
-Bus routes
-Connectivity
-Socio/age benefit
-Summer camp, institution synergies

That the desired location should, in fact be, closer to the downtown core.
At this time it appears the City of Sault Ste. Marie is short on project funding.

Currently the DTA is seeking a notice of motion to discuss the matter in greater detail with the City and Council.
