Beautification
Queen Street features two urban parkettes, dynamic murals, and a stage. These spaces host days of activations for everyone.
Sault Ste. Marie’s Downtown is historic. With many of its signature buildings that date as early as the mid-late 19th century.
The Downtown Association is dedicated within its capacity to keeping this district tidy and maintained. The BIA services Queen Street (Pim-Dennis St.) 5 days a week. These include the streets, sidewalks, laneways, alleys, and urban features within our Association boundaries. Our Beautification Coordinator, Mike Vincent, removes debris, litter, trims weeds, clears snow in winter months, provides window washing, and graffiti tag removal.
Upcoming Beautification Event: EARTH DAY DOWNTOWN CLEANUP
We're assembling a team for Earth Day in Downtown.
We like to see our streets clean.
Do you?
If so, join us Saturday, April 22 for an afternoon clean up in Downtown!
We meet at 496 Queen Street East at 11am.
